Ketua DPD RI: Patuhi Prokes Adalah Wujud Berkurban Demi Kepentingan Bersama

JMNChannel.com | Ketua DPD RI AA LaNyalla Mahmud Mattalitti mengemukakan perilaku patuh terhadap protokol kesehatan (prokes) merupakan wujud berkurban demi kepentingan bersama dalam mengantisipasi penularan SARS-CoV-2 penyebab COVID-19.

“Bagi yang belum mampu berkurban hewan, saya kira cukup berkurban dengan mematuhi protokol kesehatan pencegahan COVID-19. Artinya ketaatan kita pada prokes merupakan wujud pengorbanan yang besar bagi keselamatan diri dan orang lain,” kata LaNyalla dalam pernyataan tertulis yang diterima di Jakarta, Selasa.

Menurut LaNyalla semangat berkurban pada Hari Raya Idul Adha tidak hanya berupa kambing atau sapi. Berkurban bisa dilakukan dalam bentuk lain, terutama di tengah kondisi pandemi yang membuat semua masyarakat terdampak.

“Berkurban kambing atau sapi memang syaratnya seperti itu. Tetapi lebih mendalam lagi sebenarnya makna berkurban adalah semangat membantu sesama, apalagi bagi mereka yang membutuhkan,” ujar LaNyalla.

Mantan Ketua Umum PSSI itu mengatakan kurban bisa berupa apa saja sesuai dengan kemampuan seseorang dan kebutuhan masyarakat.

LaNyalla mengajak masyarakat untuk selalu menerapkan 5M, yakni memakai masker, mencuci tangan, menjaga jarak, menjauhi kerumunan dan mengurangi mobilitas, tidak keluar rumah apabila tidak perlu, kemudian mengikuti vaksinasi.

Dikatakan LaNyalla pandemi menjadi ujian akan solidaritas dan kepekaan sosial masyarakat. Dia berharap meski kondisi sangat berat, masyarakat terus berikhtiar dan tetap kedepankan rasa saling peduli dan tolong menolong.(Red)
