Unisba Tetapkan 4 Wakil Rektor Untuk Pencapaian Visi Universitas
TODAY.ID | BANDUNG – Rektor Universitas Islam Bandung (Unisba), Prof. Dr. H. Edi Setiadi, S.H., M.H., menetapkan 4 orang Wakil Rektor (Warek) untuk mendampingi dalam membangun dan mencapai visi Unisba.
Keempat orang Warek Uniba tersebut yakni Prof. Ir. A. Harits Nu’man, M.T., Ph.D., IPM (Warek I-Bidang Akademik dan Sistem Informasi), Prof. Dr. Atih Rohaeti Dariah, SE., M.Si., (Warek II-Bidang Perencanaan, SDM & Umum, Keuangan), Dr. Amrullah Hayatudin, SHI., M.Ag. (Warek III-BidangKemahasiswaan dan Ruhul Islam) dan Dr. Ratna Januarita, S.H., LL.M., M.H., (Warek IV-Bidang Kerjasama, Internasionalisasi, Promosi).
Prof. Edi Setiadi mengatakan, penetapan ini sebagai tafsir disertai ijtihad organisasional yang diamanatkan oleh statuta dan misi Unisba untuk menjangkau tingkat Asia.
Disamping itu, lanjut Prof. Edi Setiadi, pengisian jabatan warek ini pun merupakan hasil imajinasinya untuk menyongsong perubahan jaman dan lanskap pendidikan tinggi.
“Saya yakin masa depan berasal dari imajinasi. Kegagalan dalam berimajinasi diyakini adalah awal yang problematik mendesain masa depan. Imajinasi saya di harapkan dapat menjadi imanjinasi kolektif para warek dan stake holder lainnya yang akan memberikan arah jalan yang harus ditempuh dalam mengelola Unisba,” kata Prof. Edi Setiadi dalam pidatonya saat pelantikan Warek Unisba secara hybrid dengan perpaduan tatap muka di Aula Utama Unisba dan online melalui Zoom Meeting, Jumat 8 Oktober 2021.
Prof. Edi Setiadi menjelaskan bawha jika dirunut Imajinasi yang ingin dicapai dalam hal ini katanya, mulai universitas kelas dunia, universitas riset dan universitas euntrepreunerial.
Tak hanya itu, Prof. Edi Setiadi menuturkan, tambahan Warek IV ini sebagai elemen kerjasama dan internasionalisasi yang mempunyai misi menambah jejaring Unisba semakin luas baik di dalam negeri maupun luar negeri, terutama dalam menunjang program MBKM yang memerlukan dunia usaha dan industry.
“Posisi warek 4 bisa menjadi trigger untuk pengembangan bidang akademik, sumberdaya insani dan kemahasiswaan. Semuanya demi mengejar cita-cita Asia,” tuturnya.
Di era revolusi 4.0 ini, Prof. Edi Setiadi mengajak untuk bersama-sama berbenah dengan beragam inisiatif, mulai perencanaan strategi besar, peninjauan ulang kurikulum, metode pembelajaran, sarana prasarana, kuliah daring, serta variasi respon lain yang ditemukan dilapangan.
Untuk itu, sambung Prof. Edi Setiadi, Unisba harus memiliki dua point yaitu tidak boleh latah dengan berbagai slogan tapi tetap pada komitmen awal bahwa Unisba adalah jalan perjuanagn untuk kejayaan umat. Selain itu, tetap mempertahankan bahwa Unisba bertujuan menghasilkan lulusan yang kompeten dan berahlak.
“Jika tidak maka jebakan pola pikir kapitalisme akan melanda kita dan hasilnya adalah Unisba akan menghasilkan lulusan yang kompeten tapi tuna sukma,” ucapnya.
Prof. Edi Setiadi juga berpesan kepada para Warek untuk dapat menyalurkan ego dan ambisi yang dipunyai ke dalam tujuan yang lebih besar yaitu mengantarkan unisba menjadi hebat.
“Janganlah kesulitan itu dijadikan beban, akan tetapi harus menjadi peluang untuk bertindak lebih cepat, taktis dan bermanfaat,” pesannya.
“Arahkanlah ambisi pribadi untuk kepentingan Unisba, dan terahir janganlah anda menyalahkan orang lain, faktor eksternal dan badluck dan lain sebagainya, manakala terjadi kegagalan dalam suatu cita-cita. Jika ada yang tidak beres hendaklah mengambil alih tanggung jawab,” tandasnya.(Red)
