Gubernur Jabar: Indonesia Mampu Swasembada Energi Terbarukan Pada 2050

TODAY.ID | BANDA ACEH – Ketua Asosiasi Daerah Penghasil Migas dan Energi Terbarukan (ADPMET) yang juga Gubernur Jawa Barat Ridwan Kamil mengatakan, berdasarkan hasil penelitian, Indonesia akan mampu swasembada energi terbarukan dari angin, air, dan matahari, pada 2050.

“Hasil penelitian tahun 2050, Indonesia bisa swasembada energi dari angin, air, matahari, dan sebagainya. Pertanyaannya, mau apa tidak,” kata Ridwan Kamil dihadapan mahasiswa dan pelajar EMIR (Energi Milenial Indonesia Raya) saat melakukan kunjungan kerja ke Banda Aceh, Minggu (26/12/2021).

Menurut Ridwan Kamil, yang jadi kendala saat ini bukan dari sumber daya maupun teknologinya, melainkan kemauan. Dia berharap tahun 2050 Indonesia bisa menjemput 100 persen energi terbarukan tersebut.

“Mau apa tidak itu kan political will. Jadi, saya doakan semoga tahun 2050 dengan kemauan politik, kita bisa menjemput 100 persen energi terbarukan,” ucapnya.

Ridwan Kamil menuturkan, energi terbarukan yang paling mudah dijemput oleh kaum milenial yaitu penggunaan motor listrik. Hanya dengan motor listrik, sudah lebih dari cukup membantu tren energi terbarukan pada masa depan.
