Kakek Pengrajin Anyam Bambu di Cianjur Berjuang Hidup Sebatangkara

JMNChannel.com | Meskipun sudah lanjut usia (Lansia) Didi (66) seorang kakek sebatangkara masih tetap semangat mengarungi hidup sebagai pengrajin anyam bambu alat rumah tangga (perabotan).

Penelusuran JabarNews.com, Jumat (23/7/2021), kakek Didi huni menempati rumah gubuk kecil berdinding bilik bambu dan beralas lantai bambu pula. Ia asal warga Kampung Lebak Muncang RT 4/4, Desa Gelarpawitan, Kecamatan Cidaun, Kabupaten Cianjur.

“Ya, beginilah nak rumah kakek. Seperti terlihat kan? Bahkan sudah mulai keropos lapuk dimakan usia,” ucapnya, nampak tabah dan ikhlas kepada wartawan ini saat ditemui langsung dikediamannya, siang.

Didi menuturkan, sehari- harinya bekerja untuk membiayai sendiri itu dengan menganyam (pengrajin) bambu. Nantinya untuk dibuatkan beberapa jenis alat dapur, seperti kipas nasi, dan juga kukusan, penyaring dan lainnya.

“Inilah satu-satunya mata pencaharian saya, yang sudah ditekuni hampir puluhan tahun,” aku kakek Didi.

Masih ujarnya, dengan segala keterbatasan modal dan mencari bahan baku (bambu) hanya cukup mencari bambu bekas, yang sisa-sisa pengambilan orang lain. Namun, masih semangat tanpa mengenal lelah.

“Ya, habis mau bagaimana lagi demi kebutuhan hidup terus membuat kerajinan tangan. Dan, berharap hasil karya ini bisa dilirik banyak beli,” harap Didi.

Adapun hasil kerajinan tangan manual sehari cuma bisa menghasilkan tiga buah kipas nasi, dengan harga jual Rp5 ribu per biji.

“Kecuali jenis lainnya sehari cuma bisa satu buah itupun kalau ada bahan bakunya,” tutur kakek Didi.

Tinggal sendiri menempati rumah, masih papar Didi, kondisi seperti ini dan sebagai pengrajin cuma menganyam hasil karya. Guna untuk biaya kebutuhan hidup, karena sekarang bantuan dari pemerintah berupa beras sudah lama tidak menerima lagi.

“Entah kenapa gak dapat lagi bantuan sosial (Bansos),” akunya.

Terakhir, kakek Didi menambahkan, dan harap, semoga siapapun bisa memperhatikan. Kiranya membantu baik untuk biaya modal beli bambu bahan baku anyaman, karena keterbatasan kondisi sudah tidak kuat memikul beban berat dan bepergian jauh.

“Itu juga kalau ada bantuan dari pemerintah keinginan sih? Mau bangun rumah layak huni,” pungkasnya.(Mul)
