TODAY.ID | BOGOR – Kawasan Wisata Sungai Ciguha atau Ciguha River dulunya merupakan tempat penambangan liar atau gurandil dan sempat tercemar limbah berat.

Kini berkat kerja sama berbagai pihak kawasan tersebut telah berhasil ‘disulap’ menjadi kawasan wisata, yang sekaligus berperan sebagai sungai bio indicator terhadap pencemaran air demi mendukung SDG’s.

Wakil Gubernur Jawa Barat Uu Ruzhanul Ulum mengatakan, terbentuknya kawasan wisata ini diinisiasi para lokal heroes yang beberapa di antaranya merupakan mantan gurandil, yang juga mendapat dukungan dari PT Antam, serta unsur pemerintah setempat

“Berbicara masalah tambang selalu menguntungkan, di sisi lain kalau pengelolaannya tidak profesional tidak sesuai dengan aturan bukan hanya keuntungan tapi juga madharat yang ada,” kata Uu Ruzhanul Ulum saat meresmikan Kawasan Wisata Ciguha River di kawasan Kampung Ciguha, Desa Bantarkaret, Kecamatan Nanggung, Kabupaten Bogor, Kamis (13/1/2022).

Uu Ruzhanul Ulum bersyukur atas perubahan yang terjadi. Kawasan eks tambang yang menjadi lebih hijau dan asri diharapkan mampu menghadirkan peradaban baru yang lebih indah dan tentram.
